Dr. Shawna Bais, was born in Washington and has spent time in Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. She became a Registered Nurse in 1998 and enjoyed both working as a pediatric nurse and teaching nursing while completing a Bachelors or Science degree in Biochemistry. She attended veterinary school at both Oregon State University and Washington State University and purchased her first veterinary hospital directly out of veterinary school in 2006. She built and opened Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital in East Wenatchee, WA in 2012 and then purchased Quincy Veterinary Clinic. Her interests include anesthesia, surgery, emergency care, reproduction and internal medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is creating relationships with clients and patients alike. While not working, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys gardening, hiking and horseback riding.
