Our History
Quincy Veterinary Clinic was founded by Leroy Whitener DVM and his brother Keith Whitener DVM, over 40 years ago. The clinic served a large rural area of beef cattle ranches. They also attended to race horses as well as working and pleasure horses, and small animals. As the practice and the area population grew Leroy built a clinic in Ephrata and Keith remained in Quincy until he retired in 1993.
Laura Hoyt, DVM purchased the practice in the fall of 1993 and after 24 years of practice here, sold the clinic to Shawna Bais, DVM in 2016.
Our Philosophy
We understand that your pet is a part of your family. As pet owners ourselves, we feel the same way. At Quincy Vet Clinic we provide the same high quality medical care we would expect for our own pets. This also means providing the information and resources to help you make informed decisions.
